ROTC at a place like Notre Dame, Boston College, Georgetown, Wash. U...etc?

What programs are the best for someone interested in biology, chemistry, botany...etc and perhaps wants to go onto med school? What is the process like? Is getting into a schools rotc program a good indicator as to whether one will get in the school? What about the competitiveness of scholarships (gpa, standardized test scores,...) ? what do most science focused majors do out of college for the military? How are the job opportunities post- time served? and perhaps most important where can I go to talk to someone about the rest of my questions? I am very new to this, but having read multiple websites, feel i am still inadequately informed on the process. Any and all information is helpful.
