Childbirth question?????????

okay iam 20 years old and i have a 2 year old and a 6 month old. I didnt want them to put me an epidural because iv'e heard bad stories about it, of women that got paralyzed afterwards. The only thing i asked for is pain medicine through my I.V. and no, it didnt really cut the pain made it made be sleep a little, after the medicine wears off, than the doctor really pushes you to begin labor and start pushing. I have done this with both of my boys. The only thing i can tell you is that the contractions get really really bad after 6 cm. Good luck! What are you having? Also what part in mexico are you at?
