Did they really change the Beastly release date to March 11 2011?

i am a big fan of the book...and Alex Pettifer :D and i just noticed that on wikipedia they said the date has been changed to almost a year later. now i know that wiki is not always reliable. does anybody know why on earth the would do such a thing? i was so excited for it too! am i the only one?
