Is my cartilage piercing infected?

I got my cartilage pierced 2-3 months ago (I haven't really kept track). The ear is a little swollenish, and where it is swollen around my earring (on both sides) it is white (A white?). It hurts a lot to clean, touch, and sometimes I sleep on it. I honestly did not clean it as much as I was supposed to at the beginning (I used to only clean it once a day). Also, there was a period of about 3 days when I was on vacation that I did not clean it (which I regret, and it was stupid, I'll admit it!). I clean it with a solution that the person who pierced me gave to me. I got it done at The Piercing Pagoda with a gun, which I have heard has a higher chance of infection. Also, I have taken the piercing out a few times to clean it and it bled, and now I realize that I shouldn't have done that and it was stupid. Is it infect, and what should I do to treat it? No answers telling me how stupid I am please because I already realize that I did a lot of things wrong with this piercing. Thanks!
