Should Chiefs unilaterally sit Lauaki down?

No I don't think that it matters what the franchise thinks in regards to the laws of the process. It is a good thing if Lauaki was stood down by the club but it's a competition that is professional & that means a lot of money is at stake for everyone not just the club. The club would lose out & the fans would be disappointed that their star player isn't allow to play because the club thinks that it was the right thing to do. It a business now Rugby & it won't do any good losing a professional All Black hopeful just to prove a point. But I do think you could stand down Lauaki for being sin-binned but that's not what I see is right. He payed for his dangerous tackle in the game & I think that was enough to deal with it. Anything more after the game would be too much punishment I think:-) And in the end hurt the game.
